Description

Edwyn Ralph, an actor pilloried by the tabloid press for his sexual antics, joins Eryk and a small band of would-be urban guerrillas in a conspiracy to kidnap the right-wing media mogul Rab MacMurdo. When the kidnap plot goes wrong, Edwyn and Eryk are thrown together as they go on the run, where adversity forces an unconventional friendship and mutual dependence on this pair of opposites.

But are they and the conspiracy real, or only the invention of Alys, a writer who has found herself sued for defamation by an actor resembling Edwyn Ralph? Is the mysterious figure held underground and questioned about the glorification of terrorism the actual author or are they only a character from a play in which Edwyn has acted? And who is the Man who appears to connect all three?
